CAA Row: Muslim Central Committee holds rally at Adyar amidst heavy police bandobust

Mangaluru, Jan 15 (UNI) The Anti-CAA protests, called by the members of Muslim Central Committee, evoked good response as hundreds of people took out a bike rally, waving the national flag to reach the protest venue at the Shah Grounds in Kannur, Adyar, situated in the outskirts of the City.
Amidst heavy police deployment, thousands of people on their two wheelers and four wheelers were seen racing towards Adyar-Kannur on Wednesday afternoon, to participate in the anti-CAA, NRC protest.
People were also seen arriving in boats from Kottepuru in Ullal here. Most of the shops in the Central market, an otherwise bustling area remained shut, extending their support to the protest.
