C'garh gov't to set up regulatory commission for determining fees

Raipur 18 Jul (UNI) Taking note of the complaints of arbitrary collection of fees by private schools, the Chhattisgarh government has decided to set up a commission for determining fees, up to Class 12.
Replying to supplementary questions of BJP's Rajnish Kumar Singh and other MLAs during the Question Hour in Chhattisgarh State Legislative Assembly, School Education Minister Premsai Singh Tekam announced to set up a regulatory commission, for determining the fees of classes 9 to 12.
Provision to determine fees under the Right To Education (RTE) Act is currently available only up to Class 8, he said, adding that the matter is currently under process.
