Bengaluru, Feb 20 (UNI) In yet another setback to the ruling Congress in Karnataka, a party leader Byrathi Narayanaswamy who was allegedly involved in threatening a BBMP officer and pouring kerosene on the office furniture with a threat to burn it if his work was not done, was suspended from the party.
The incident comes close on the heels of Congress Legislator N A Haris's son Mohammed H Nalpad involving in a assault case in a Bar on Saturday.
Nalpad, who was youth Congress leader, was suspended from the party for six years immediately after he surrendered before the police.
