Bypoll to one MLC seat announced by Election Commission

Hyderabad, Sep 19 (UNI) The Election Commission has announced conduct of by-election to the lone vacant MLC seat from Telangana Legislative Council (by MLAs) by resignation of Tummala Nageswara Rao.
The bypoll will be conducted on October 17 and nomination process would commence on September 26, an official statement said here today.
The reminder period of the vacant MLC seat is up to June 3, 2021, Mr Rao, who got elected in May 16, 2016 in by-elections to Palair Assembly constituency of Khammam district, resigned from his MLC seat.
