Panaji, May 19 (UNI) Above 71 per cent voting was recorded till 1700 hrs in Panaji Assembly constituency which went for polls on Sunday.
The polling began in the morning. According to office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) here, 71.75 per cent voting was recorded till 1700 hrs.
Polling was disturbed for about 20 minutes at a polling station as VVPAT machines developed technical snag.
