Speaking on the occasion, NCP state president Jayant Patil alleged
that Mr Modi had the farmers detained before addressing the meet at
Nashik.
The Prime Minister was so scared of farmers for the first time, he
claimed.
The NCP state chief warned the ruling BJP government that people
will not remain calm until the removal of the government.
Meanwhile, a young man, Krushna Dongre, who was present at the rally
of Mr Pawar, came on the dias without a shirt and handed over a
memorandum to the NCP supremo.
The youth, who had protested on the issue of land a few days back,
accused the government of suppression. He has vowed not to wear the
shirt until the change in the ruling government.
