BWWA dedicates day to BSF families, addresses their issues

New Delhi, Sep 18(UNI) Remembering the unsung heroes, the martyrs of the force with their families, Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday felicitated the brave widows of the bordermen and their children.
The BSF Wives Welfare Association also felicitated the Divyang children of BSf wards on the occasion of the 26th BWWA day celebration organised here in the capital.
President BWWA also met and addressed the grievances of the widows during the program and met the families , widows children who had come from different places and spent time with them.
' To reach out to our families at different frontiers and conduct different welfare programs has always been our priority and work and we try to always do better.' said BWWA president.
She said that the BWWA day is being celebrated at all the BSF frontiers across the nation and wherein we join our BSF families and interact with them on various things.
For the BSF children,especially Divyangs, small games were organized along with free medical checkup camps for them and the families of BSF personnel during the said event.
BSF also gave away 33 Android Tablets hearing aid and other things including kitchenware besides , three wheelchairs etc to the Divyangs.
BWWA day, which is celebrated every year in the month September, is dedicated for upliftment and welfare of families of BSF and becomes an event wherein the families come together and discuss various things and experiences.
