Changzhou, Sep 20 (UNI) India's ace shuttler Sai Praneeth was knocked out of China Open World Tour Super 1000 badminton tournament after losing to World No nine Anthony Sinisuka Ginting in the quarterfinals, here on Friday.
With Sai Praneeth’s loss, India’s campaign came to an end in the tournament as all the other participants had been knocked out before the quarter-final stage itself.
The world number 15 Praneeth went down fighting 16-21, 21-6, 21-16 against Indonesia’s Anthony Ginting in a match which lasted 55 minutes.
