Prayagraj, Sep 24 (UNI) Three persons were arrested by the police on Sunday for the kidnapping and murder of a 13-year-old businessman from the Shankargarh area of Prayagraj district in Uttar Pradesh, a senior police officer said.
Commissioner of Police (CP) Ramit Sharma said that Subh, the son of transporter Pushpraj Kesarwani, a resident of Shankargarh, went missing on Saturday evening. "Pushpraj lodged a complaint in this regard at Shankargarh police station," he said.
He said that during the investigation, the police received information that one of Pushparaj's truck drivers, Loknath's brother Sukhdev and nephew Sanjay, took Subh with them on the pretext of showing a rabbit and killed her. "After this, a ransom call was made to the family members from Dabhaura jungle in Chitrakoot," he said.
