Business Plan competition held at BITS Pilani

Hyderabad, Nov 17 (UNI) Hyderabad-based Technology Business Incubator BITS Pilani organized a Business Plan Competition at its campus on Saturday.

The competition was organized aimed to bring Startups, Domain expert, Investor and industry on the same platform, wherein the business proposition and innovation of the startup can be vetted by the expert panel.

This Business plan competition also gives a platform to startups to showcase their technologies and interact with Investors, domain experts and industry so as to enhance their product/innovation to get the maximum benefit.

The event received an overwhelming response and 17 teams pitched their Business preposition in the competition and out of which 5 startups were encouraged with a cash prize and investment commitment up to 2.5 lakh.

Speaking on the occasion , Technology Business Incubator (TBI) Head ( BITS) Prashant Sinha said that this business plan competition is also a gateway to get incubated at TBI, BITS, Hyderabad Campus and also the winning team gets an opportunity to get seed fund of 2.5 lakh and mentorship.

Product manager Strategy – Office India @ Microsoft Principal Sandeep Srivastava also emphasized the role of incubator and mentorship to ensure the intensity and focus of the business plan of startups.
