New Delhi, Oct 25 (UNI) On the back of higher revenue from the sale of products and license, Newgen Software on Monday reported 28% year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs 37.4 crore in July-September quarter of FY22 as against Rs 29.2 crore in the same period of previous financial year.
The company's total income in the second quarter (Q2) of the current financial year stood at Rs 192 crore, up 22% over the corresponding period last year.
Commenting on the Q2 results, company Chairman and Managing Director Diwakar Nigam said, "Enterprises are choosing Newgen as their digital transformation partner. With the recent organization‐wide management changes, we are getting future‐ready and strengthening our capabilities to capitalize on opportunities in the digital transformation space."
In a statement, Newgen Software said that its EBIDTA rose 13% year-on-year at Rs 46.6 crores compared to Rs 41.1 crores in Q2 FY’21.
Revenue from the sale of products/license was reported at Rs 40.9 crores during the quarter ending September 30, 2021, up 55% year-on-year.
