The sectoral indices led by Industrials, Telecom, Auto, Metal and
Power slipped by up to 2.08 per cent.
Major losers on Sensex were Yes Bank, Tata Motors, IndusInd Bank,
Coal India, Sun Pharma and Power Grid Corporation, plunging by up to
8.39 pc.
Top gainers were Bajaj Finance, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, HCL Tech
and Infosys, rising by up to 4.20 pc.
Nestle India rose 0.35 pc after the FMCG major announced on Tuesday
that its net profit rose 9.26 pc to Rs 463.28 crore on 9.33 pc rise
in total income to Rs 3,076.14 crore in Q1 March 2019 over Q1 March
2018.
