The sectoral indices that edged lower were IT (by 0.13 pc), Teck (by
0.18 pc), Oil & Gas (by 0.21 pc), Telecom (by 0.27 pc), Metal (by
0.29 pc), Basic Materials (by 0.48 pc), Capital Goods (by 0.67 pc),
Auto (by 1.00 pc), Bankex (by 1.08 pc), Healthcare (by 1.08 pc),
FMCG (by 1.20 pc), Consumer Durables (by 1.25 pc), Energy (by 1.30
pc) and Finance (by 1.44 pc).
However, Realty, Power and Utilities gained by up to 1.36 pc.

Private sector banks such as RBL Bank, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Yes
Bank, City Union Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank and Federal
Bank fell by up to 2.59 pc.
However, IndusInd Bank rose 0.07 pc.
Public sector banks like Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Bank of
Maharashtra, Vijaya Bank, United Bank of India, Central Bank of
India, Bank of Baroda, Punjab & Sind Bank, Bank of India, Punjab
National Bank and Allahabad Bank advanced by up to 3.15 pc.
While, Dena Bank, UCO Bank, IDBI Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Bank,
Union Bank of India and State Bank of India edged lower by up to
1.65 pc.
Realty shares like Anant Raj, Indiabulls Real Estate, Mahindra
Lifespace Developers, DLF, Prestige Estates Projects, Housing
Development & Infrastructure (HDIL), Sobha, Godrej Properties,
Parsvnath Developers, Phoenix Mills and Oberoi Realty surged by up
to 6.37 pc.
While, Sunteck Realty, Unitech, Omaxe, D B Realty and Peninsula Land
tanked by 7.4 pc.
