The sectoral indices that rose were FMCG by 2.40 pc, Metal by
1.52 pc, Capital Goods by 1.06 pc, Materials by 0.93 pc, Helath Care
by 0.76 pc.
The sectoral indices that declined were Realty by 0.35 pc and
Bankex by 0.02 pc.
The major sensex gainers were Power Grid Corporation of India
was up by 3.43 pc, ITC by 3.26 pc, Adani Ports & Special Economic
Zone by 3.51 pc, Tata Steel by 2.36 pc, Hindutan Unilever by 2.35
pc and Vedanta by 2.10 pc.
The sensex losers were Axis Bank by 2.38 pc, Tata Motors by 1.68
pc, ICICI Bank by 1.06 pc, Bharti Airtel by 1.01 pc, Yes Bank by
0.77 pc and Coal India by 0.5 pc.
Drug major Sun Pharmaceutical Industries rose by 3.01 pc.
IT major Wipro rose 1.67 pc. Wipro and Duck Creek Technologies,
the P&C insurance industry's leading Saas software provider,
announced a relationship whereby Wipro will offer a broad array of
implementation services and related software and data solutions for
its insurance industry customers around the world.
