Bushan Haobam, Ayushmaan Athreya in title round

Chandigarh, Mar 15 (UNI) Bushan Haobam from Manipur and top seed Ayushmaan Athreya from Madhya Pradesh moved into final of boys under-14 Road-to-Wimbledon Junior Masters being conducted by Chandigarh Lawn Tennis Association on the grass courts of Chandigarh Club in Sector 1 here.
In the semifinals Bushan defeated second seed Yuvan Nandal in a 3 setter match 6-4, 5-7, 10-8. Bushan played in a top form with high energetic game in the first set. In the second set Yuvan came back from 2-4 down and took the set 7-5.
In the final set match tie break Bushan used his experience and had a cool temperament to closed the match 10-8.
Bushan defeated Skandha Prasanna Rao 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
In the another semifinals top seed Ayushmaan Athreya defeated Aditya Rathi in a closed contestant 3 setter marathon match. Ayushman won the firstt set 7-5. In the second set Aditya Rathi came back strongly and won without conceding a single game 6-0. In the match tie break Ayushman got his momentum and closed the set and match 11-9.
