Nashik, Aug 19 (UNI) As many as 14 people were killed when a Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation(MSRTC) bus collided had-on with a container truck in Dhuke district of Maharashtra, police said here on Monday.
The incident, police said, took place on Dondaicha-Shahada road around 2300 hrs on Sunday, when the MSRTC bus, en route to Shahada from Aurangabad, was rammed by an oncoming container truck.
While 11 people, including the two drivers, died on the spot, the other three succumbed to their injuries in a hospital, police said.

The injured are being treated at Dhule, Shahada and Dondacha government hospitals.
MSRTC has announced a compensation of Rs 10,000 each to the victims.
