Bus conductors to apprise travellers regarding safety measures against Covid-19

Ranchi, Aug 31 (UNI) With the bus travelling all set to commence in the state from Tuesday it has been decided that the conductors would inform the people regarding all the precautions which needed to be adopted against the spread of Coronavirus.
A meeting was held on Monday at the collectorate here which was chaired by Sadar SDO Lokesh Mishra and District Transport Officer Praveen Kumar Prakash during which bus owners were also present. The bus owners have been directed to make sure that buses operate as per the guidelines of the transport department.
The bus conductors would inform the travellers regarding place where the people would sit, hand sanitisation and use of mask. Further thermal scanning of all the people would be done before they enter inside the buses.
