Bus caught fire in Thane

Thane, Jan 17 (UNI) Around 25 passengers of a private bus had a miraculous escape, when a private bus caught fire on Friday morning near Ghodbunder check post in Thane, an official said.
According to the official, the incident occurred around 0630 hrs. A rickshaw driver noticed the flames from the bus and alerted the driver.
Two fire engines rushed to the spot and extinguished the flame, however the reason of the fire was not known immediately, the official added.
