Budget session of Parliament to be held from Jan 31 to Feb 13

New Delhi, Jan 16 (UNI) The budget session of parliament will be held from January 31 to February 13.
According to the Lok Sabha Secretariat, 'the 17th session of the 16th Lok Sabha will commence from January 31 and end on February 13. Depending on the Parliamentary business, the session could be extended.'
President Ram Nath Kovind will address a joint sitting of both the houses of parliament at 1100 hours on January 31 in the central hall of Parliament.
On February 1, the Government is expected to present the interim budget for 2019-20. This will be the last budget to be presented during the tenure of the Narendra Modi Government.
This will be the last parliament session prior to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
