Srinagar, Mar 28 (UNI) Police on Tuesday claimed to have cracked a theft case by arresting four accused persons involved in the commission of crime and recovered stolen property from them in central Kashmir’s Budgam district.
Police Station Magam received a written complaint on February from one Jameel Jamsheed Magray, a resident of Batpora Kanihama stating therein that during the intervening night of January 1 and January 2 some unknown thieves have stolen iron rods weighing about 93 Quintals lying outside his M S Magray Cement Store at Batpora Kanihama.
Police said a case under relevant sections of law was registered at Police Station Magam and investigation into the matter was initiated while with the help of technical evidence revealed names of some suspects including Muzzaffar Ahmad Khatana, a resident of Peerah Ramban was questioned.
