Jammu, Dec 7 (UNI) BSF Jammu Frontier on Friday bid a final farewell to the jawan martyred in cross-border firing on the Line of Control in Sunderbani sector of Rajouri.
On Thursday, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Sunderbani area on the line of control resulting in one BSF person get martyred and another injured.
In the incident happened at 1630 hours, Constable Prosenjit Biswas and Constable Mansa Ram were critically injured and immediate resuscitation and medical aid was provided to the bordermen and they were evacuated to Jammu. However, Constable Prosenjit Biswas could not survive the gunshot wound and succumbed to the injuries.
