BSES Rajdhani & Yamuna to pay Rs 1534 crore to NTPC by September

New Delhi, Jun 15 (UNI) Two power distributors in Delhi - BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna have agreed to clear their dues worth Rs. 1534 to NTPC Ltd by September this year.
In a statement today, NTPC said “The outstanding dues from the two distribution utilities stand at Rs 1,534 crore as on June 14, and from September/October 2016 onwards, they will maintain outstanding limit of 60 days.”
The statement said, BSES Rajdhani and BSES Yamuna were yet to clear its dues worth Rs. 993 crore to its joint venture firm Aravali Power Company Pvt Ltd (APCPL), Jhajjar despite directions from the Delhi Electricity Regulatory Commission (DERC).
