Brother kills his elderly sister accusing her of witchcraft

Nawada, Feb 10 (UNI) A brother along with his family members killed his 65-year-old sister by accusing her of practising witchcraft in Muahari Tola of Bandhi Panchayat under Sirdala police station area in Nawada district today.
Police said the brother Jagdish Bhuiya along with his family members killed his sister Alkhi Devi by attacking her with a sharp edged weapon and accusing her of being a witch. The husband of the deceased, Jagdish Harijan, registered an FIR at the police station concerned against ‘killer’ brother, Rampati Bhuiya, Ram Vilas Bhuiya, Pallu Bhuiya and Kajal Devi.
In the FIR, Jagdish Harijan claimed that the assailants killed his wife by accusing her of being a witch after 4-5 pigs of Ram Vilas had died two days back.
