Brother and sister drown together

Diamond Harbour, Jun 15 (UNI) Eleven-year-old brother and his 9-year-old sister today drowned while taking bath in a pond in their home in South 24 Paragas district of West Bengal, police and neighbours said.
Subhankar Giri and his sister Nitu went for a dip in nearby pond before going to school but they did not return home this morning.
A search in the pond found the two drowned together, holding each other's hand.

Hyderabad, April 24 (UNI) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has issued a communication stipulating that every individual employed in any business, trade, industrial undertaking, or establishment, eligible to vote in elections to the House of the People or the Legislative Assembly of a State, shall be granted a paid holiday under Section 135 B of the Representation of People Act.
