British Council, Govt of Telangana signs MoU for education & cultural collaboration

Hyderabad, Nov 30 (UNI) Mr Alan Gemmell, OBE, Director British Council in India and Mr Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, ITE&C and I&C Departments signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in presence of Mr Shailendra Kumar Joshi, Chief Secretary and other diginitaries to strengthen educational and cultural cooperation, to support the knowledge ambitions and economic growth of Telangana.

The MoU aims to create opportunities for young people of Telangana to succeed in India and across the world by improving access to English language learning, quality education and internationally benchmarked assessments, skills and qualifications for young people and by creating initiatives that will promote the sharing of culture, creativity and ideas.
