Bring law to prevent people having more than 2 kids from contesting panchayat polls: Union Min tells UP CM

Lucknow, Jul 11 (UNI) Union Animal Husbandry, Fisheries and Dairy Minister Dr Sanjeev Balyan has requested Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to bring a law preventing people with more than two child to contest next Panchayat Elections.
In a letter to Chief Minister Dr Balyan said that Uttar Pradesh has a huge population following which the benefits of the government schemes are not reaching the people.
“The need of the hour is to educate people about small families and how small population of the state is beneficial for them. Therefore, the Government should bring a law debarring people with more than two children not allowed to contest Panchayat election,” he said in his letter which was released to media on Saturday – the World Population Day.
