Entertainment » OtherPosted at: Dec 1 2016 10:43PM BRICS logo selected through open contest: Gen VK SinghPanaji, Dec 1 (UNI) Union Minister of State in the Ministry of External Affairs Gen VK Singh (Retd) has informed Shantaram Naik, MP, that the BRICS Logo was selected through an open contest launched by the Ministry of External Affairs on its portal, which is Government of India's Citizen Engagement Platform. The BRICS Logo during India's BRICS Championship was the national flower of India -- Lotus, Mr Singh said, adding the middle portion of logo depicted salutation 'Namaste'. The Minister informed Mr Naik that the entry of Mr Sudeep Subhash Gandhi was finally selected. The Minister said, "The overall logo depicts the national flower of India 'Lotus'. The perception of the countrymen and the world towards India has changed in the last 1.5 years.
