Botswana to host Africa karate championships

Gaborone, Jun 26 (Xinhua) At least 35 countries and regions are expected to participate in the UFAK Africa Karate Championships scheduled for July 9 to 14 in Gaborone, the capital of Botswana.
So far, 25 countries and regions have confirmed attendance at the games that are expected to attract more than 1,000 athletes.
Addressing a press conference in Gaborone on Wednesday, local organizing committee chairperson, Edwin Dikoloti was upbeat about the preparations for the games.
