Bollywood paints the town red on Valentine’s: Couples share candid, romantic posts

New Delhi, Feb 14 (UNI) Love is in full bloom this Valentine’s Day, with Bollywood couples taking over social media with heartwarming displays of romance. From candid snapshots to affectionate captions, stars are setting major relationship goals for fans. Whether it’s intimate moments, playful smiles, or unseen memories shared online, the celebrations of love are hard to miss.
From Shilpa Shetty and Raj Kundra’s warm wishes to Kriti Kharbanda and Pulkit Samrat’s adorable posts, the internet is buzzing with romance, inspiring fans as they gear up for their own Valentine’s Day plans.
Shilpa Shetty shared glimpses from a luxurious vacation with husband Raj Kundra on Instagram, recreating the iconic Titanic ship pose. She called it “Filmy since day one! And unapologetically so...Happy Valentine’s Day my darling Cookie.”
Kriti Kharbanda celebrated the day with her husband Pulkit Samrat, sharing sweet pictures of the two lost in each other’s company. Dressed in coordinating red and white outfits, she called him “Hello Valentine.”
Randeep Hooda posted a heartfelt picture with his wife Lin Laishram from a family function, writing, “I found love in her eyes… and now I see our future in her smile. HappyValentinesDay to my heart and the little heartbeat growing within.” Lin also shared a beautiful picture of them embracing on international streets, calling him “Eigee Nupa,” which means ‘My Man.’
This year, several celebrities are celebrating their first Valentine’s Day after marriage. Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Raj Nidumoru, for instance, tied the knot on December 1, 2025, at the Linga Bhairavi Temple in Coimbatore’s Isha Yoga Centre, making this their first Valentine’s together.
Nupur Sanon and singer Stebin Ben will also celebrate their first Valentine’s Day as newlyweds, following a lavish wedding in Udaipur last month. The couple first had a Christian wedding, followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony.
Prajakta Koli, popularly known as MostlySane, is celebrating her first Valentine’s Day with husband Vrishank Khanal, whom she married on February 25, 2025, in a private ceremony in Karjat, Maharashtra, after dating for several years.
Lauren Gottlieb, the actor and dancer, will spend her first Valentine’s Day with husband Tobias Jones. The couple married on June 11, 2025, in a private wedding in Tuscany, Italy.
Prateik Smita Patil and Priya Banerjee tied the knot on February 14, 2025, making this Valentine’s Day their first marriage anniversary. Similarly, Adar Jain and Alekha Advani, who married in February 2025, are marking their first Valentine’s Day as a married couple, giving followers pure couple goals.
The film industry also joined in the love celebrations with two releases timed for Valentine’s weekend: 'O Romeo', starring Shahid Kapoor and Triptii Dimri, and 'Tu Yaa Main', featuring Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor. Both films hit theaters on February 13, a day ahead of Valentine’s Day, and are now competing at the box office. Reports suggest that 'O Romeo' had a strong opening of nearly Rs 9.1 crore, while 'Tu Yaa Main' collected around Rs 55 lakhs on its first day.
