Bollywood  congratulates Manushi Chhillar on winning Miss World crown

New Delhi, Nov 19 (UNI) Bollywood celebrities have congratulated Manushi Chhillar for winning the 2017 Miss World title at a grand event in China.
Several celebrities, including Superstar Amitabh Bachchan, former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, former Miss World Priyanka Chopra, former Miss Asia Pacific Dia Mirza, actors Anupam Kher and Deepika Padukone congratulated Chhillar, lauding her for bringing home the Miss World crown after 17 years.
'Miss World in our world ... Pride and felicitations .. गर्व और ख़ुशियाँ , भारत का झंडा गाड़ दिया विश्व में (pride and happiness) Manushi Chhillar,' Bachchan said in a tweet.
'India wins Miss World 2017!!!! Congratulations @ManushiChhillar yipeeeee about time super proud JaiHind,' Sushmita Sen said.
Congratulating Chhillar, former Miss world Priyanka Chopra said, 'And we have a successor!Congratulations @ManushiChhillar on becoming MissWorld2017.. cherish and learn, and most importantly enjoy it. Bravo.'
Former Miss Asia pacific Dia Mirza also congratulated Chhillar for winning the crown.

Veteran actor Anupam Kher also congratulated Chhillar.

'Congratulations ManushiChhillar for winning the title of Miss World 2017! Keep winning hearts all over the globe,' Padukone said.
'A winner is a dreamer who never gives up...Never stop dreaming cos look where it got you! Congratulations ManushiChhillar,' actor Sophie Chaudhry said.
Manushi Chhillar became the sixth Indian woman to be crowned Miss World, after Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999) and Priyanka Chopra(2000).
The 20-year-old medical student wowed the judges and the audience with her beauty, charm and intelligence and bagged the prestigious title for India after 17 years at the Miss World event in Sanya, China. While Chhillar won the Head to Head and the Beauty with a purpose challenges of the Miss World competition, she also impressed the judges with her intelligence.
