Boat capsizes in Brahmni river, six missing

Dhenkanal, Mar 7 (UNI) At least six people feared drowned when a country boat carrying over 50 villagers capsized near Chandipal ghat in Brahmni river under bhuban block in Dhenakanal district today.
Police said the boat ferrying the villagers from Surapratappur under Bhuban block lost control in the mid river and capsized.
The villagers were on their way to witness the Jagar mela at Goudeswar Mahadev on the occasion of Mahashivratri when the tragic mishap took place.
