BNP warns Bangladesh interim govt of taking any decisions beyond scope of July Charter,

Dhaka, Nov 11 (UNI) The Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) on Tuesday cautioned the interim government against taking any decision beyond the framework of the July National Charter, warning that signatory parties would not be bound by measures exceeding the agreed provisions, including those accompanied by notes of dissent.
"Any decision taken outside the signed charter will be the government's sole responsibility," said BNP Standing Committee member Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain at a press briefing held at the party chairperson's office in Gulshan this morning, as per local media sources.
Urging the government to proceed with restraint, Mosharraf stated, "If the government announces any decision beyond the issues mentioned in the July Charter, the signatory parties will not be obliged to accept it."
