BNP blames Hasina govt for mishandling corona situation

Dhaka, May 29 (UNI) Standing committee member of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury expressed his deep concern over the increasing number of novel coronavirus cases and fatalities in the country.
"Deadly coronavirus has spread across the country. The number of affected people as well as death is rising in Chittagong. Healthcare system has been collapsed. There is no adequate treatment facility at hospitals, the BNP leader said, alleging that the government has failed to face the corona situation as well as provide treatment for the people.
The government’s such failure manifests the mismanagement in the health sector, Khosru, observed, adding that people are now gripped with death panic.
