Blow to Congress in Nagpur Rural as Raja Tidke joins BJP

Nagpur, Nov 16 (UNI) In a big shocker to the Congress in Nagpur Rural ahead of local body elections in Maharashtra, the oarty's State secretary Raja Tidke today joined the BJP in the presence of senior BJP leader and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
A few hours before the list of BJP’s candidates for the Nagar Panchayat President posts was to be announced, Congress’s Mauda taluka leader and state secretary Raja Tidke formally entered the BJP in a programme held in the presence of BJP leader and Guardian Minister Chandrashekhar Bawankule.
For Congress, this is being viewed as a major setback.

BEST to deploy 1,500 new AC electric midi buses to strengthen Mumbai public transport

Mumbai, June 11 (UNI) In a major move to enhance public transportation, the Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) administration has initiated plans to induct 1,500 new air-conditioned electric midi buses into its fleet. Midi buses are single decker buses larger than minibuses but smaller than regular buses.
