Blaise Costabir nominated as CII Goa Council Chairman, Atul Jadhav as Vice Chairman

Panaji, Feb 27 (UNI) GMI Zarhak Moulders Pvt Ltd Managing Director Blaise Costabir has been nominated as Chairman while New Era Shipping Managing Director Atul Jadhav as Vice Chairman of Confederation of Indian Industry - Goa Council.
According to a statement here, the change of guard took place at the recently concluded CII Goa Annual Day 2020 in the city.
Mr Costabir is a first generation entrepreneur. An alumnus of the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. He co-founded GMI Zarhak Moulders Pvt Ltd in 1995. It is today an Indo French JV company based in Goa. He is also an Independent Director of Mac Hotels which is Goa’s first Company to list on the MSME Exchange. He was Chairman of the CII SME Sub Committee for Western Region (WR) and is Convenor of the CII Goa Manufacturing Panel. He is also a member of the SME WR and National panel of CII. He is the President of the Verna Industries Association and a Rotarian.
Atul Vithal Jadhav graduated from Murgaon Education Society College in BCom and completed his LLB thereafter. He started New Era Handling Agency at the age of 18, handling contract of Bagging and Despatch of Fertilizers in Zuari Industries Ltd, handling about 500 workers. He was the President of Goa Barge Owners Association for 11 years. He has been the Vice President of Indian Coastal Conference Shipping Association (It is an Association of Coastal Vessel Owners) and Trustee - Mormugao Port Trust, Vasco for 7 years, He is an Active Member of Rotary Club of Vasco and served on various Committees appointed by Government of Goa and Government of India of an Inland Trade and Coastal Trade.
