BJP workers held protests across Maha against Awhad

Chhatrapati Sambhaijnagar, May 30 (UNI) The activities of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) across the Maharashtra on Thursday held a protest agitation against NCP (SP) MLA Jitendra Awhad for tearing down a photograph of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar yesterday during his protest against Manusmriti at Mahad in Raigad district.
In Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, BJP Scheduled Caste Morcha, all front office bearers Yuva Morcha, OBC Morcha Mahila Morcha, Minority Morcha, and Labour Morcha activits held protest agitation at Kranthi Chowk and condemned the act done by Awhad.
Meanwhile, the former state minister Awhad apologized on Wednesday for tearing up photos denouncing the Manusmriti, which also had a picture of Ambedkar on them.
