BJP workers burn effigy of Deepender Hooda

Kaithal, Oct 20 (UNI) BJP workers and representatives of some other outfits today protested against Congress MP Deepender Singh Hooda and later burnt his effigy at Pehowa chowk here for allegedly using un-parliamentary words against Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar.
Three protesters, including councilor Vinod Soni, suffered burn injuries on their hands while burning the effigy of the Congress MP. The protesters raised slogans against Deepender Hooda.
Addressing the protesters, Rao Surendra Singh alleged that power stung Congress leaders could not digest their defeat during last assembly elections and they have lost mental balance. He said Mr Hooda failed to maintain decorum and decency which is expected from an MP and added that it was really shameful that he used abusive language against the Chief Minister who was widely respected for his honesty and simplicity and held in high esteem by all.
