BJP women delegation urges EC to take action against Rahul for his 'Rape in India" remark

New Delhi, Dec 13 (UNI) Incensed BJP women on Friday intensified their attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his "Rape in India" remarks and urged the Election Commission to take action against him.
A delegation of BJP women MPs led by Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani met the Election Commission and pressed their demand.
'Entire country looks upon these Constitutional authorities (EC) to ensure that the dignity of women is upheld and those politicians who make rape a political tool are reprimanded with heaviest punishment possible,' the Amethi MP and WCD Minister told reporters.
The delegation also comprised RS MP Saroj Pandey.
Asking whether he saw "every man in India" as a rapist, she termed his remark as "condemnable",
Earlier, talking to reporters in Parliament, she expressed indignation with his comment, saying Mr Gandhi had insulted women of the country and wondered how the Congress MP could stoop to "inviting men to India to rape"..
Lashing out Mr Gandhi for "using issues of crime against women for politics", she said "women will give him a reply but I want to ask the men here - is every man in India a rapist, according to Rahul Gandhi?"
