BJP welcomes SC's verdict on Rafale deal

BJP welcomes SC's verdict on Rafale deal

Hyderabad, Nov 14 (UNI) BJP Telangana unit on Thursday welcomed the verdict of Supreme Court to dismiss the review petitions on Rafale fighter jet deal with French Firm Dassault Aviation, adhering to it's earlier order giving a clean chit to the Centre on all the three accusations raised by the petitioners.

Supreme Court also reprimanded former Congress President Rahul Gandhi for using the same allegations against the incumbent government, even after the Supreme Court has clearly adjudicated and passed an order on the same, BJP State Chief Spokesperson K.Krishna Saagar Rao said in a statement here.

The dismissal of review petition by the Supreme Court exposes once again the lack of any substance in the malicious campaign Congress party and it's allies have unleashed for over three years and also in their general election campaign, he said.

Congress party should learn an invaluable lesson from the Apex Court decision and refrain from making frivolous allegations on issues of National Security for petty political & electoral expediency, he added.
