BJP welcomes SC judgement on Ayodhya issue

Puducherry, Nov 9 (UNI) Puducherry Unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party on Saturday welcomed the Supreme Court Judgement on the Ayodhya issue.

In a statement here, BJP state president V Saminathan MLA said this is a historical judgement.
The judgement will not only resolve all issues on the Ram Temple issue, but also will further strengthen the high tradition of peace, unity and harmony.

Mr Saminathan called upon the people here to wholeheartedly accept the judgement by not concentrating on any rumors and make Puducherry a model in protecting the values of equality, social harmony and peace.
This judgement clearly shows that in India we are united and we are a strong democracy.
He also exhorted the people to adopt a peaceful stance and expressed hope that the judgement will resolve all doubts on the issue and India will further strengthen in its cultural tradition.

The BJP State President the party had always assured the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya.
