Pune, May 28 (UNI) BJP Vyapar Prakosth, an organisation boasting membership of more than crore people associated with the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), on Thursday demanded a special economic package for the sector, citing that it's reeling under severe financial COVID-19 woes.
Prakosth National Working Committee member Pravin Oswal asserted that more than 7 crore businessmen across India have been forced to close their works during the lockdown.
"All small and medium class Vyapari, which are around 40 crore in the country, have suffered a lot. Around 7 crores businessmen have closed their shops and other establishments due to financial problems," he told.
