Bengaluru, June 7(UNI) Charging that two prominent Ministers in the JD(S)-Congress coalition government in Karnataka have received huge kickback for allotment of land to the steel giant JSW in Ballari district, Former Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party Lok Sabha member Shobha Kharandlje today urged the State Government to withdraw its decision to sell land to the steel company.
Addressing newsmen here on Friday, the BJP leader charged Minister for Water Resources D K Shivakumar and Minister for Industry K J George are clearly behind the land allotment deal to the JSW.
Strongly refuting the statement of George that there is no any financial dues from the JSW to the State government, the BJP leader said that “The JSW owes over Rs 2000 crore to the state-owned Mysore Minerals”.
