BJP ups call for NRC in Jharkhand, advocates three ‘D’ strategy against Bangladesh insurgents

Ranchi, Sep 15 (UNI) The Jharkhand unit of the BJP today once againdemanded that the National Register of Citizens (NRC) be held in thestate to find out the illegal Bangladeshi insurgents who are living inthree districts of the Santhal Pargana region and suggested the stategovernment to adopt the strategy of three ‘D's’ which is Detect, Deleteand Deport.
Addressing the press conference at the working committee meet ofthe party here Chatra MP Sunil Singh said that these Bangladeshiinsurgents should be first Detected, secondly they should be Deletedfrom all types of government schemes including voter Identity Cards,Aadhar etc and finally Deported back to their nation.
"On the likes of Assam NRC should be also done in Jharkhand as theparty was in its full support,” Mr Singh said adding that the stategovernment has already written to the Central government over theissue. Apart from that the party was also in the favour the minoritygroups from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan who have takenshelter in India should be given citizenship of the country.
