BJP supporters blame SC/ST Act for party's defeat in assembly polls

Lucknow, Dec 11(UNI) Dedicated supporters of Bharatiya Janata Party have blamed the Modi government for SC/ST Act as the main reason of party’s defeat in three states of Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.
“It is the arrogance of top party leadership which led to BJP’s defeat in the election. The upper caste was angry the way Modi government handled SC/ST Act. They voted against the party resulting in BJP’s defeat in the elections,” Dr SK Pandey, medical practitioner, said.
Dr Pandey, who claimed himself to be the die hard support of BJP and claimed that he had never voted any other party in his life, was happy at the defeat of BJP in elections. “This should be clear for the party leadership now that dalits had not voted for them. I think party should learn some lessons from this defeat and mend ways,” he said.
