BJP stage protest against handing over land to Jindal

Bengaluru, Jun 13 (UNI) The Opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had staged protest against the failure of the state government as well as granting of over 3600 acres of land to the steel giant JSW in Ballary district, and courted arrest here on Thursday.
The BJP workers who had assembled near Vidhana Soudha in big number, led by former Deputy Chief minister R Ashok, Bengaluru South Lok Sabha member Tejasvi Surya, party MLC, Ravikumar and others, were stopped by the police.
The police had arrested the BJP leaders and workers, when they tried stormed towards Vidhana Soudha, and later released.
The State BJP Yuva Morcha leaders, including B Y Raghavendra, Saptagiri Gowda were also participated in the protest march.
