Aurangabad, Maharashtra, Dec 6 (UNI) The BJP and Shiv Sena distinctly performed religious prayers here on Friday as 27 years back on this date, the Babri mosque located in Ayodhya of Uttar Pradesh was demolished.
Both the parties, who have been long-time allies before parting ways recently, hailed the act of Babri demolition by calling it 'Bhagva Sankalp Diwas' and 'Shourya Diwas'.
Led by former MP Chandrakant Khaire, prominent Shiv Sena leaders MLC Ambadas Danve, Aurangabad Central MLA Pradip Jaiswal, Yuva Sena chief Rushikesh Khaire,woman members and Mayor Nandkumar Ghodele performed prayers at the Supari Hanuman temple in the Gulmandi area.
