Mumbai, Feb 18 (UNI) Burying all their past differences, Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray on Monday announced alliance for upcoming Lok Sabha and
the state assembly elections due later, in presence of BJP president Amit Shah.
Making announcement in the joint news conference here, Mr Fadnavis said that in the general elections, BJP will contest on 25 Lok Sabha seats while the Sena on 23.
In the assembly elections, he said that they would contest on equal number of seats after allocation of seats to their other allies.
