BJP revokes Abhay Mishra's suspension

Bhopal, Jan 30 (UNI) Six months after suspending Rewa district panchayat president and former legislator Abhay Mishra from the party, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has revoked his suspension.
According to a party statement issued here today, Madhya Pradesh BJP president Nandkumar Singh Chouhan revoked Mr Mishra’s suspension on the basis of recommendation of the disciplinary committee.
Mr Mishra was suspended from the party’s primary membership on October 27, 2015, for working against the party and leading the agitation of panchayat representatives against the BJP-ruled Madhya Pradesh Government. According to the statement, Mr Mishra tendered his apology and clarification in writing and in person.
