BJP resolved to convert swadeshi into people's campaign: Arun Singh

Bhopal, Oct 14 (UNI) Bharatiya Janata Party General Secretary and parliamentarian Arun Singh today said that the party has resolved to convert the swadeshi mantra into a people's campaign.

Addressing a press conference in the Madhya Pradesh capital, the politician said, "For achieving the objective, programmes such as 'swadeshi in every home' and conventions of youth, women, assemblies and traders will be organised across the country. In Madhya Pradesh, especially at the Vidhan Sabha level, conventions will be conducted with the message of swadeshi and self-reliance. A self-reliant Bharat will make the concept of a developed Bharat real. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, Bharat has emerged as the world's most rapidly developing economy. Congress dispensations paid scant heed to developing the country's infrastructure whereas the Modi government annually spends approximately Rs 12,000 crore on infrastructure."
