BJP reaching out to linguistic, religious groups to wrest power in Delhi

New Delhi, Jan 24 (UNI) In the midst of heightened talk about religion-based divisions vis-a-vis CAA, in the run up to the assembly elections in Delhi, the BJP is adopting community-based approach to woo voters.
It is in this connection, sources said Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat has been assigned the task of campaigning in localities where people originally from Rajasthan reside.
Similarly, two lawmakers from Odisha Jual Oram and Dharmendra Pradhan, also Union Petroleum Minister, have been assigned to campaign in some South Delhi pockets such as RK Puram and other localities where a number of people hailing from Odisha reside.
